Introduction

   One of the darkest days in America, with 2,996 deaths, could it have been prevented (Editors)? Did they know or were they involved? On September 11, 2001, a group of nineteen men hijacked four commercial aircrafts; two aircrafts flew directly into the Twin Towers, which both buildings collapsed shortly after the crash. One plane crashed into the Pentagon; the fourth plane crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. As quickly as the attacks happened upon America, another phenomenon was brewing; conspiracy theories emerged and started spreading rapidly. The main conspiracy, that the attacks were an inside job was a larger conspiracy of many smaller conspiracies. A few of these theories are:

1. The Government and media knew the attacks were coming and was scripted.

2. A missile, not a plane hit the Pentagon

3. The United States Government orchestrated the attacks, not Al Qaeda.
